Many community and zoning ordinances require dust control when vegetation is disturbed on various projects. Water trucks can be used for the very short term or in areas to be re-disturbed within a few days. However Anderson Hydroseeding provides tackifer products that eliminate dirt particles from being blown around. These dust control materials are more cost effective compared to the man hours running water trucks.

Tackifier

Tackifier (a glue-like additive) when used in water and sprayed on disturbed soil, binds to
the loose soil together. This binding of the soil keeps it from separating and being blown by
the wind. Tackifier when used with our hydroseeding product is designed to create a
protective layer which will hold soils on a steep slope more effectively while allowing
moisture to penetrate during the seed germination stage.
